3rd Annual RECONCILE Peace Institute Begins Next Week

The 3rd annual RECONCILE Peace Institute will kicked off next week 16th March 2011.  Thirty students are expected to arrive from all over southern Sudan to learn strategies to heal trauma and build peace.  The Institute is also excited to welcome a multitude of well-qualified visiting intructors for this year's RPI include:

RECONCILE Welcomes New Staff

We are excited to welcome Mr. Sebit Nicolas, appointed Peacebuilding and Civic Education Officer and Mr. Paul Ohisa, appointed Psychosocial Training officer February 2011 to the RECONCILE family. 

Construction of new Documentation & Resource Centre Library!

A new Documentation & Resource Centre Library facility at the RECONCILE Training Centre was begun in December, 2008! Construction continues and the project is expected to be completed before the end of March, 2009.

The facility will be the new home of our library which has just recently been expanded as well as other documentation materials. In addition, it will also include a computer centre so RECONCILE Peace Insitute (RPI) students will be able to work on computer skills as well as access the internet.

Needless to say, we are excited about our new addition!
